I started dj'ing in 1993. I'm not a wedding dj or a radio personality dj. I play raves, dance clubs and house parties.

The music I spin is all electronic. For a number of years, all I spun was trance. I played almost every sub-genre of trance, including hard trance, acid trance, progressive trance, goa trance, psy trance and tech-trance. I also, especially lately, spin techno. By techno I mean real underground stuff, not cheezy euro crap that you hear mainstream radio and clubs passing off as techno. Google Cari Lekebusch, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Ben Simms, etc and you'll get the idea. I also play synthpop, electro industrial and EBM. I have started to use cds for this style of music, but I also use Finalscratch as well. I'm just finding cds to be easier, me being lazy and all. All things being equal, I still love to spin with vinyl. Other genres which I play occasionaly are top40 (shhh, don't tell anyone!), happy hardcore, gabber, and hard house.

Mixsets. They are the format in which all of us started to get our names around. A mixset used to be a cassette tape, but now is usually a CD or MP3/Podcast that the dj records of him or her mixing their favorite music. They are usually used as a type of resume for dj's. They get sent out to promoters to show off the dj's skill, or lack thereof. They are also commonly traded amongst dj's, and even sold in small records stores.

I released my first mixtape back in April of 1994. Since then, I've done about 20 or so different mixtapes before switching over to CDr in 1998. I've done several mix CD's. Now, all my mixes are MP3's on this page.

If you are a promoter interested in booking me, or if you just want a hard copy of one of my mixsets, click the contact link above and email me for details.

Like I just mentioned, I focus my attention on distributing my mixes and music via the internet. I have a few mixsets here for you to listen to. The format varies from Real Audio to Windows Media to MP3. I'm trying to keep everything as MP3 so you can listen regardless of your OS. At my other site, www.hardtrance.org, you can eventually listen to some archived sets of mine as well as other djs.

Names. All dj's have a name. Some use their real name, others make one up. I used to go by the name Dj Jedi. I started going by Dj Bryan Jedi a few years ago. I had wanted to get rid of the Jedi altogether, but soooo many people know me by that name that it's been difficult.
